Short documentaries produced for Oakland Trails, an all-volunteer organization dedicated to promoting, maintaining, and enhancing the City of Oakland’s wildland parks and trails. 

Old Survivor

In the 1850’s, fueled by the California Gold Rush, an ancient redwood forest was drastically logged to help build San Francisco. Yet one old tree was left behind.

Trailhead

Discover Oakland’s gateway to the redwoods. A celebratory profile of a relatively unknown urban gem, Trailhead features a wildland trail system that connects the heart of urban Oakland, CA to over five hundred miles of trails spanning the entire East Bay.
